           <f2> Printing Test Grid

<f1>All reports are designed for 300 DPI (dots per inch). If you are using
<f1>a higher DPI setting on your printer, then a "Point Multiplier" adjustment
<f1>is needed or else printing will appear "jumbled" with some words printing
<f1>on top of others. To find the correct "multiplier," first make sure that
<f1>for the purpose of the initial position test, that the Point Multiplier
<f1>is set to "1.0" in the Printing Position Adjustments dialog and then click
<f1>Okay to make that the active value.

<f1>Then click on the Print Test Grid button to print this page again.
<f1>Use the number right under the "M" below as the new "Point Multiplier" setting.

<f1>The two lines above should line up horizontally. If they don't, and if the
<f1>the line on the right is lower, then the "Graphics Alignment" setting
<f1>must be changed from ".0" to ".1"

<f2>HP Laserjet 2100 and other laser printer users:

<f1> On this and some other laser printers, the printing resolution must be set at
<f1> 600 DPI (dots per inch) instead of 1200 DPI, or else printing will be cut off
<f1> toward the right margin.

<f1> To set the printer to 600 DPI, on your Windows desktop, go to Control Panel
<f1> and select the Printers folder. Within the Printers folder, select the
<f1> folder for the HP Laserjet 2100 (or other laser printer). This will display a
<f1> dialog box for this printer with a menu: Printer Document View Help. Select
<f1> the Printer menu, and then select the Properties option.

<f1> On the Properties dialog, you will see several tabs. Select the "Finishing"
<f1> tab, and in the "Print Quality" area you will see three options:
<f1> Best Quality, Faster Printing, and Custom. Select Custom and then click
<f1> on the "Details" button. This will display a panel with an Output Settings
<f1> area showing the DPI settings available. Select 600 DPI. Then click Okay
<f1> and close the various dialogs and folders that you've opened in this process.

The last number that appears on this page is the printing length
